An accomplished scholar and physician, Dr. Franasiak graduated from The College of William & Mary with a focus in Biology and Biochemistry, where he was awarded the James Frederic Carr Memorial Cup, honoring the graduate who best exemplifies character, leadership, and scholarship. He went on to earn his medical degree from The University of Virginia, receiving both the Shannon Z. Award for the institution’s “most well-rounded” medical student and the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, recognizing excellence of character and service to humanity.

Dr. Franasiak completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was elected Education Administrative Chief Resident. He later pursued advanced fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility through the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson fellowship program at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ), further strengthening his expertise in complex fertility treatment and reproductive science.

Today, Dr. Franasiak serves as the lead physician of RMA’s Marlton Clinic and Lab in South Jersey. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and as a High Complexity Laboratory Director in Embryology and Andrology, reflecting the breadth of his expertise across both patient care and laboratory innovation.

Widely recognized for his contributions to the field, Dr. Franasiak has been invited to speak at national and international conferences and has authored or contributed to more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and scientific abstracts. He also serves on the Editorial Boards of Fertility and Sterility and the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, while acting as an Ad Hoc Reviewer for several leading reproductive medicine and genetics journals.

With research interests spanning pregnancy loss and implantation failure, IVF laboratory optimization, and fertility preservation, Dr. Franasiak remains committed to advancing reproductive medicine while helping patients navigate their fertility journeys with expertise, compassion, and personalized care.
