Brian Jakubowicz, M.D. is a pain management specialist at Total Pain Care. Dr. Jakubowicz also serves as the co-director of Interventional Pain Medicine and is the Program Director for the anesthesia residency — chronic pain medicine program, as well as the Program Director for Emergency Medicine Acute and Chronic Pain Fellowship at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College, he completed his anesthesia residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School where he also completed his fellowship in pain management. He is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain management.
Michael Umanoff, M.D. is the Director of Pain Management at Total Pain Care. Dr. Umanoff earned a medical degree and completed his residencies in both surgery and anesthesiology. He joined the staff of St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in 1989 and established the Pain Center.
His is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain management. Dr. Umanoff specializes in painful disorders of the spine, complex regional pain syndrome and sports-related injuries. He has initiated the use of advanced interventional techniques for the successful treatment of these and other conditions.
Uzma Parvez, M.D. is a pain management specialist at Total Pain Care. Dr. Parvez is also the pain management representative for the Strategic Planning Committee for Musculoskeletal Services at St. Michael’s Hospital in Newark, NJ.
She fulfulled her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and completed her fellowship in pain management at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Parvez is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain management.
