Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Hartford in 2001, completing fieldwork training in mental health, physical disabilities, and pediatrics. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience across public and private school settings, early intervention, and adult rehabilitation, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of developmental and therapeutic care.

Committed to staying current with the latest pediatric therapies and evidence-based approaches, Sara has pursued extensive advanced training in areas including Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, Myofunctional Therapy, Reflex and Sensory Integration, Functional Visual Skills, Feeding Therapy (SOS Approach), Pre- and Post-Frenectomy Treatment, and Treatment of the Autonomic Nervous System in Infants. She is also a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) with specialized training in Asanas for Autism, an ASD Clinical Specialist, and certified in the Tummy Time Method and Babymyo.

At the heart of Beacon Pediatric Therapy is a belief that every child deserves the opportunity to feel successful, confident, and empowered.
