Prior to joining RMANJ, Dr. Treiser spent more than 25 years as co-founder and Laboratory Director of IVF New Jersey, where she played a pivotal role in helping thousands of patients achieve their dreams of parenthood. Her leadership in reproductive medicine extended beyond patient care, helping to establish high standards in embryology and fertility treatment outcomes. Under her direction, the embryology laboratory earned repeated “Accreditation with Distinction” honors, reflecting a commitment to excellence recognized among the highest in the field.
Dr. Treiser’s academic and clinical training reflects a deep-rooted passion for science and innovation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Genetics from McGill University before pursuing both a PhD in Pharmacology and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Following residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, she completed a prestigious fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City.
Throughout her career, Dr. Treiser has remained at the forefront of reproductive advancement. In 2005, she established IVF New Jersey’s egg freezing program, expanding fertility preservation options and empowering women with greater reproductive flexibility. Her clinical interests include third-party reproduction, gestational surrogacy, egg donation, and reproductive ethics, areas in which she continues to contribute both academically and clinically.
A respected authority in reproductive medicine, Dr. Treiser has authored scientific publications, including work featured in Science Magazine, and co-received the 2000 Zenith Award from RESOLVE’s New Jersey chapter for her contributions to infertility advocacy and care. She was also recognized as a “Top Doctor” by New York Magazine and authored A Woman Doctor’s Guide to Infertility. Additionally, she has served as an invited speaker at the International Seminar of Reproductive Ethics Symposium, helping shape important conversations surrounding the ethical dimensions of modern fertility care.
