Dr. Mehta is dual-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in the fields of neurology and epilepsy, and he is one of the country’s first board-certified epileptologists. Dr. Mehta prides himself on his capacity to think outside of the box when considering complex neurological conditions. He has experience developing comprehensive solutions that address the unique needs of the patients he serves.
Dr. Mehta completed his medical degree at New York Medical College, an internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry – New Jersey Medical School, and a neurology residency at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Mehta then completed his clinical neurophysiology fellowship at New York University and completed an optional year of fellowship training in adult and pediatric epilepsy.
Currently, Dr. Mehta maintains active membership in the American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and the American Medical Association. He now seeks to advance his vision of improving the quality of care for all people who previously did not have access to comprehensive neurological care.
