He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Prior to joining Hunterdon Gastroenterology, Dr. Arrigo spent two years working with the Liver Transplant Program in Newark, New Jersey, where he treated patients with complex and advanced liver disease. His clinical expertise includes the management of cirrhosis and its complications, fatty liver disease and NASH, hepatitis B and C, alcohol-related liver disease, autoimmune liver conditions, and metabolic liver disorders such as hemochromatosis. Dr. Arrigo is trained in advanced endoscopic procedures used to diagnose and treat digestive conditions. He has a special interest in caring for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and also offers non-surgical weight loss treatments, including intragastric balloon therapy.
Dr. Arrigo is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Association for Bariatric Endoscopy.
