Dr. Jonathan Weiswasser of Aesthetic Vascular Associates Named NJ Top Doc
NJ Top Docs is proud to present Jonathan M. Weiswasser, MD, FACS of Aesthetic Vascular Associates for 2018. He received a BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Northwestern University and a MD from New York University School of Medicine and Dr. Weiswasser completed his training in General Surgery at NYU Medical Center. He also did extensive research on liquid ventilation and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation at Columbia University. Dr. Weiswasser completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at NYU with expertise in endovascular surgery.
In 2008, as his interest in the growing field of minimally invasive vein treatment grew, Dr. Weiswasser partnered with The Plastic Surgery Center of Shrewsbury, NJ to form the Aesthetic Vascular Associates, a full service vein treatment center. Under his direction, thousands of patients with varicose veins, spider veins, leg swelling, or chronic venous insufficiency have been successfully treated using advanced, minimally invasive, treatment modalities in a comfortable, safe, and supportive environment.
Currently, Dr. Weiswasser is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Registered Vascular Technologist, and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery.
