Dr. Lesley A. Fein Awarded NJ Top Doc Distinction for 2025 NJ Top Docs has reviewed and approved Dr. Lesley A. Fein based on merit for 2025. Dr. Lesley A. Fein has devoted her medical career to advancing the understanding of complex, infection-driven illnesses. Early in her journey, she demonstrated a profound commitment to public health while studying in South Africa during the 1970s. As one of four students, she helped establish The Muldersdrift Clinic near Johannesburg, delivering free medical care, vaccinations, nutrition education, and reproductive health services to farm laborers in an area with the highest infant mortality rate in the region. By the time she left in 1977, the clinic served more than 10,000 patients and successfully reduced infant mortality to the lowest level in the area. The clinic remains an integral part of medical training in Johannesburg today.
