CarePoint Health’s Osbert Fernandez, MD Named NJ Top Doc

NJ Top Docs is proud to present Osbert Fernandez, MD, FACOG, FAAFP of CarePoint Health Medical Group. This is Dr. Fernandez’s second consecutive year awarded as a NJ Top Doc.

Dr. Fernandez is dual board certified in Family Practice in addition to Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an Attending Physician with CarePoint Medical Group and is the Associate Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hoboken University Medical Center. Dr. Fernandez is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York Medical College in the Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Fernandez has special interest in high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. He is certified by the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) for his commitment to menopausal health. Currently, he is the Principal Investigator for the Violet Petal Study, a phase 3 clinical trial for the treatment of severe endometriosis. Dr. Fernandez has won various teaching awards, and in 2003 he was awarded a Humanitarian Award for his dedication to women’s health.
