NJ Top Docs has reviewed and approved Dr. Anna M. Korkis for 2019. Dr. Korkis is a board certified gastroenterologist who specializes in liver disease. Prior to entering private practice in 1992, Dr. Korkis shared her medical expertise by teaching medical students at the New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center and lectured extensively. She continues to teach and mentor P.A. students and health professionals.
In addition, Dr. Korkis has authored numerous medical articles as well as a chapter in a medical book. She was awarded the prestigious Certificate of Recognition and Merit by the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate for her work in Medicine. Dr. Korkis has done extensive work with weight loss and weight management over the past two decades she has been in practice. She also is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the Bergen County Medical Society.
