Dr. Joseph G. Shami of Gastroenterology Associates of New Jersey Named NJ Top Doc For 2020 

NJ Top Docs has reviewed and approved board certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Joseph G. Shami for 2020. Dr. Shami is a part of  Gastroenterology Associates of New Jersey (GANJ). He is dual board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. 

Dr. Shami completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and his residency in internal medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. For 20 years, Dr. Shami was a clinical assistant professor at the School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. 

He is currently Emeritus Chief for the Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Shami is multilingual with fluency in English, Italian, Spanish, and Arabic.
