Dr. Bergh is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His academic role allows him to remain actively involved in medical education while continuing to contribute to the advancement of reproductive medicine.
He earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School before completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He went on to complete fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, gaining specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and reproductive health concerns.
Dr. Bergh’s clinical interests include improving infertility diagnosis and treatment, with particular attention to diminished ovarian reserve, assessing embryonic competence, recurrent miscarriage, and third-party reproduction. These areas often require both highly specialized medical knowledge and a thoughtful understanding of the emotional and personal considerations involved in fertility treatment.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bergh has also valued the importance of collaboration.
