Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Dr. Aziz S. Ghaly Named NJ Top Doc

Dr. Ghaly completed his residency at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY and he completed an additional residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.  Dr. Ghaly then completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He also completed a fellowship in cardiac transplant and ventricular assist devices at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University in New York City. 

Dr. Aziz S. Ghaly is currently board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.  He is affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital which is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Dr. Ghaly specializes in cardiac transplantation and has advanced training in VAD’s, minimally invasive valve surgery, aortic valve surgery as well as complex coronary artery bypass grafting and arrhythmia surgery.

In addition, Dr. Aziz Ghaly is an Associate Professor of  Cardiothoracic Surgery and the Surgical Director of the Heart Transplant Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.
