David V. Lopez, MD has just been reviewed again and awarded with the title of being a NJ Top Doc for 2017! Dr. Lopez is committed to excellence by pledging to provide the highest quality of orthopaedic care possible. Along with the treatment of immediate or chronic problems, he strives to integrate the doctrine of prevention in all our treatment plans as a way to alleviate possible future difficulties.

Dr. Lopez specializes in minimally invasive sports medicine and joint replacement. He performs a variety of complex procedures in the upper and lower extremities including rotator cuff surgery, knee ligament surgery, and the direct anterior total hip replacement.

Through his extensive training, Dr. Lopez is always capable of meeting the needs of his patients.  After completing his undergraduate degree in the major of biology at Cornell University, he then went on to graduate from the New Jersey Medical School with his degree in Medicine. During the same time of his education, Dr. Lopez also performed basic science research at the prestigious Whitehead Institute, an affiliate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
