NJ Top Docs has reviewed and approved Dr. Cherag Daruwala of Hunterdon Gastroenterology Associates for 2019. This is the fourth consecutive year Dr. Daruwala has been reviewed and approved. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
After completing his gastroenterology fellowship, Dr. Daruwala went on to complete training in endoscopic ultrasound and was on staff at Temple University Hospital for 3 years prior to joining Hunterdon Gastroenterology. Dr. Daruwala established the endoscopic ultrasound program at Hunterdon Medical Center.

Because of my training and experience, I am proud to have been the first gastroenterologist in Central New Jersey to offer endoscopic ultrasound. With endoscopic ultrasound, we are able to get high quality information about a patient’s condition in a way that is much easier and less invasive than other diagnostic procedures,” says Dr. Daruwala.
