Since joining Rutgers Health, the faculty practice of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in 2008, Dr. Merjanian has provided thoughtful and comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients across a wide range of needs. Her clinical interests include adolescent gynecology, contraception management, abnormal pap smears, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, preventive women’s healthcare, pregnancy, and delivery. Known for taking the time to listen and educate, Dr. Merjanian strives to ensure patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout every phase of their care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Merjanian is deeply committed to medical education and mentorship. As the OB/GYN Clerkship Director at Rutgers RWJMS, she plays an important role in training and inspiring the next generation of physicians. Her dedication to education has earned her numerous recognitions for humanism in medicine and excellence in teaching, highlighting the lasting impact she has made on both medical students and residents.
