Dr. Shastri, Clinical Director and Physician Partner at RMA New Jersey, is a respected reproductive endocrinologist who has helped bring more than 2,000 babies into the world since joining the practice in 2009. Inspired early on by her mother’s three-decade career as an OB/GYN, Dr. Shastri was drawn to women’s health and ultimately found her calling in reproductive medicine, where advanced science and meaningful patient relationships come together.

Board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Shastri holds a master’s degree in Physiology from Georgetown University and earned her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed both her residency and fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital–Weill Cornell Medical Center, training within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

At the heart of Dr. Shastri’s approach is a deep respect for each patient’s individual journey. She believes in empowering patients with clear, thoughtful guidance so they can make informed decisions that feel right for them. Dr. Shastri provides comprehensive care across all areas of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, including diagnostic evaluation, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), third-party reproduction, and fertility preservation. She has a particular interest in genetic factors affecting fertility, including preimplantation genetic diagnosis and egg freezing.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Gujarati, Dr. Shastri is committed to making care accessible and personalized for a diverse patient community.
