John Vitolo, M.D. Named NJ Top Doc For 8 Consecutive Years
NJ Top Docs has reviewed and approved John Vitolo, MD of Advocare Orthopedic And Sports Medicine Center for the eighth consecutive year. Dr. Vitolo is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine.
Dr. Vitolo completed medical training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center where he treated many well-known professional athletes. In fact, Dr. Vitolo is a former team orthopedic surgeon for the Boston Red Sox. Dr. Vitolo is also one of a select group of orthopedic surgeons who were selected by Rutgers University to provide clinical training to student physicians.
Services provided by Dr. Vitolo include treatment of all sports injuries. These include ACL tears/reconstruction Meniscal tears/repairs, and many other types of knee injuries. In addition, he specializes in the treatment of shoulder injuries including Rotator cuff tears, dislocating shoulders, and labral tears.
He performs all types of arthroscopic surgery for the treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. He has a special interest in sports injuries.
