Dr. Bakhos is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides dedicated and compassionate care at Orthocenter.  Dr. Bakhos brings a seasoned and ever-deepening skill set to his practice.  He specializes in Joint Replacement Surgery, focusing on muscle-sparing and minimally invasive hip and knee replacements. Dr. Bakhos was born and raised in Monmouth County, NJ.  He left New Jersey to pursue his undergraduate degree at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, but then returned home earning his Medical Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following graduation, Dr. Bakhos completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He then furthered his sub-specialty training by completing the Otto E.
