Board-Certified Cardiologist, Dr. Sheikh Naeem Named NJ Top Doc For 2020

Sheikh Naeem, MD, FACC of the Lakeland Cardiology Center has been reviewed and approved by NJ Top Docs for 2020. Dr. Sheikh Naeem is a board-certified cardiologist and a Fellow of the American Board of Cardiology. In addition to being board-certified in cardiovascular disease, Dr. Naeem is board certified in adult transthoracic echocardiography and stress echocardiography.

Dr. Naeem has admitting privileges at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville and Dover as well as at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown.

Dr. Naeem received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan prior to completing his post-graduate training in the United States. Following his residency in internal medicine, Dr. Naeem completed a fellowship in Cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ and Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

He has held several leadership positions during his career, including being Chairman of the Department of Medicine at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. Dr. Naeem has also chaired Cardiology, CCU, and Quality Improvement committees and served on the St. Clare’s Executive Committee.

With his compassion and knowledge, this NJ Top Doc is well known for his dedication to the emotional, as well as medical, needs of his patients. Dr. Naeem takes time to listen to each of his patients’ concerns, addressing each one with individualized and comprehensive care.
