Primary Care Physician, Dr. Robert B. Ocasio Named 2020 NJ Top Doc

Dr. Ocasio completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Cooper Hospital in 1997. He later joined University Cooper Hospital as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine working directly with residents in training and as an attending physician. 

Dr. Ocasio then joined Depersia, Chernoff & Ocasio, PC, where he currently enjoys providing primary care to adults, especially preventive care in diabetes, obesity, hypertension, lipid disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.

Dr. Ocasio served as the past Chairman of Inspira Health Partners-Physician Health Organization (PHO). He is also the Chairman of the Medical Records Committee and member of the Executive Committee at Inspira Hospital Woodbury. He is fluent in Spanish.
