Dr. Girgis obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, followed by postgraduate training at Staten Island University Hospital from 1990 to 1993. He completed two prestigious fellowships—one in cardiovascular medicine and another in cardiovascular electrophysiology—at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Medical Center. His expertise includes the treatment of conditions such as Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, supraventricular tachycardia, AV node reentry tachycardia, AV node ablation, and the management of biventricular pacemakers and defibrillators.
Dr. Girgis holds multiple board certifications, including in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, as well as Level III Echocardiography certification. His extensive knowledge and experience have made him a trusted physician at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Community Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Girgis is a passionate soccer player and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and young twins. His dedication to both his patients and his family exemplifies the compassion and expertise that have earned him this recognition
