This includes a new vein institute several years ago, which allows us to treat an often misunderstood aspect of cardiovascular disease,” notes Dr. Schafranek. “This is in addition to a heart-care program where we treat patients with heart failure using a more individualized plan and more aggressive monitoring.”
Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates has incorporated a new cardio oncology specialty unit, which utilizes 3D echo technology to help detect problems.
