Dr. Larisa Kayserman’s Commitment to Retina Care Earns 2026 NJ Top Docs Recognition

She went on to complete fellowship training in Retina-Vitreous Diseases and Surgery, developing specialized expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of complex retinal conditions.

Her commitment to medicine extends well beyond her clinical practice. Dr. Kayserman has spent years teaching, mentoring physicians, and lecturing on vitreoretinal disease, sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained throughout her career. Her academic accomplishments began early, including graduating Cum Laude from SUNY Downstate and earning membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Kayserman approaches her work with a belief in continually learning and staying current as medicine evolves. Most importantly, she brings that knowledge back to her patients, with the goal of providing thoughtful, highly specialized care while helping advance the next generation of ophthalmologists.
