In 2006, he obtained his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2013, where he served as a Clinical Fellow of Harvard Medical School, and then completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, Texas, in 2014.
As a board-certified surgeon in both colon and rectal surgery and general surgery, Dr. Tizio is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS). His expertise in robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery is well-recognized, allowing him to provide patients with minimally invasive solutions for faster recovery and improved outcomes.
