Dr. Penelope Chang Named NJ Top Dentist for 2018
Penelope Chang, DDS has been reviewed and approved by NJ Top Dentists for 2018. This is Dr. Chang’s second consecutive year being awarded this title. Dr. Chang received her dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. There, she was elected to the honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and received awards in Law & Ethics, the Psi Omega Achievement Award, and Divisional Excellence in Operative Dentistry. Divisional Excellence in Operative Dentistry is a recognition only given to a single student who achieved the best operative skills in the entire class.
Dr. Chang originally maintained a private practice with her father in New York City as while devoting time as an Instructor of Clinical Dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. In 2003, she relocated her practice to Tenafly, New Jersey in order to spend more time with her family.
Dr. Chang is a leader in CAD/CAM dentistry, fabricating all porcelain crowns and fillings in one visit. She is a CEREC mentor and frequently travels to the Spear Center in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Dentsply Sirona Center in Charlotte, North Carolina to both learn and educate other dentists about CEREC digital technology.
Currently, Dr. Chang is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Bergen County Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
