NJ Top Dentists Scotch Plains, NJ – February 2013 Each February, the dental community, both public and private sectors, come together to guarantee the delivery of care to thousands of underprivileged children who otherwise may not be able to access dental care with the “Give Kids A Smile” Day (GKAS Day).This year, the program was held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at locations across New Jersey represented in every county in order to bring awareness to one of the most prominent childhood diseases: tooth decay. Services provided included oral hygiene education, screenings, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, fluoride treatments, stainless steel crowns, and much more.Volunteers worked to guarantee the program was enjoyable and educational, while giving many children a brilliant first impression of visiting the dentist.
