NJ Top Docs is proud to present Humaira Syed, DPM of Reds Ankle and Foot Associates. Dr Syed’s practice recently opened a third location allowing her presence to expand into Wayne, Clifton, and now Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Dr. Humaira Syed is a native of northern New Jersey. A graduate from New York University (NYU) in mathematics and psychology, with her degree rich in chemical biology. Dr. Humaira Syed obtained her subsequent doctorate from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Her extensive medical and surgical training were exclusively in pathology rich at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. During her third year at Mount Sinai, Dr. Syed earned the respect of her attending physicians and became a chief resident. In 2006 during her residency she achieved an award for a poster presentation for the prestigious American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeon.
Dr. Syed is experienced in all aspects of ankle and foot care including surgical and conservative treatment options. She is well versed in lower extremity wound management. Dr. Syed specializes in bunion and hammertoe surgery, flat foot deformity correction, management of joint arthritis, heel pain, repair of tendon tears or ruptures, and fracture management of the ankle and foot. She cares for both pediatric and adult patients.
Since 2007, Dr. Humaira Syed has been a highly respected physician and a referral base for the many medical specialties in Northern New Jersey. Dr. Syed is an active lecturer, with talks given to the Diabetes Education Center at St. Joseph’s Healthcare system in Wayne, Woodland Park middle school and high school sports teams, and at health fitness clubs in both Wayne and Woodland Park, NJ.
Dr. Syed is a shareholder partner at Same Day Procedures LLC, she is a Diplomat of the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery, and she is certified in Ankle & Foot surgery.
