Dr. Aziz S. Ghaly Awarded As NJ Top Doc For 2021

NJ Top Docs has reviewed and approved cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Aziz S. Ghaly for 2021. Dr. Ghaly specializes in cardiac transplantation and has advanced training in VAD’s, minimally invasive valve surgery, aortic valve surgery as well as complex coronary artery bypass grafting and arrhythmia surgery.

Dr. Ghaly completed medical school in 1990 at the Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine. He then went on to complete a residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2006. Followed by a fellowship at Cedars Sinai and Columbia University. 

He is currently an Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery and the Surgical Director of the Heart Transplant Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.
