She completed residencies at University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital and Crozer Keystone Health System, with specialized training in Limb Lengthening and Childhood Deformities at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics. She has also completed both Basic and Advanced AO courses in Orthopedic Principles and Fixation Techniques, and is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Caruso further honed her expertise in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, supervising hyperbaric dives and treating complex wounds at Ocean University Medical Center. After eight years with Associates in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Brick, NJ, she opened her own practice in Monmouth County in 2016, establishing Caruso Foot and Ankle as a trusted destination for comprehensive podiatric care.
