He was also appointed to the Northern Westchester Hospital Foundation Board. At Putnam Hospital Center, he served as Vice-Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery and Director of Spine Surgery.
In addition to his clinical and hospital leadership roles, Dr. Syed has been actively involved with the Westchester County Medical Society, where he held a number of positions, including President.
For Dr. Syed, effective care begins with understanding the person behind the diagnosis. He takes the time to listen to his patients, discuss their concerns and goals, and help them understand their treatment options. His combination of advanced spine surgery expertise and a thoughtful, personalized approach allows him to provide care tailored to each individual patient.
