Dr. Elliott’s passion for orthodontics is backed by an impressive educational background and years of advanced training. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenberg College before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School. He later completed a General Practice Residency and Orthodontic Externship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and went on to earn his Certificate in Post Graduate Orthodontics from Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Elliott also completed an externship in Orthognathic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, further expanding his expertise in complex orthodontic treatment and facial harmony.
Throughout his career, Dr. Elliott has remained deeply committed to continuing education and professional excellence. He is an active member of several respected organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.
At Elliott Orthodontics, the goal extends far beyond simply straightening teeth. Dr. Elliott and his team focus on creating healthy smiles through proper dental alignment and ideal bite function while encouraging lifelong oral and overall wellness. Whether he’s playing pickleball, relaxing at the beach, reading, listening to music, or playing guitar, he values balance and creativity both inside and outside the office. His passion for music even led him to lecture for the Smithsonian on the origins and evolution of American music, with a special focus on the West Coast music scene.
