Lisa D. Rangel, DMD, MAGD of Rangel Dental has been reviewed and approved by NJ Top Dentists based on merit for 2026. Since opening her practice in 2005, Dr. Rangel has been dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to the Morristown community. Known for her combination of clinical expertise and compassionate patient care, she has built a reputation as a trusted dentist for patients of all ages. Recently, she was selected as a Morris County Top Dentist, further recognizing her commitment to excellence and innovation in the field.
Dr. Rangel’s academic journey began at Cornell University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus on Anatomy and Physiology. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, one of the nation’s most prestigious dental schools. She then completed a residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital, where she was honored with the Award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry before transitioning into private practice.
A strong believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Rangel continues to stay at the forefront of dental advancements. She serves as a faculty member in the same residency program where she trained, mentoring residents while keeping up with the latest innovations in dental science through ongoing education.
In 2009, Dr. Rangel earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and in 2017, she achieved the highly esteemed Mastership, a distinction held by fewer than 2% of general dentists nationwide. To earn this honor, she completed over 1,100 hours of continuing education, including 400 hours of hands-on training across all 16 disciplines of dentistry.
