Timothy P. McCabe, D.M.D. has been reviewed and approved by NJ Top Dentists for 2025 based on merit. Dr. McCabe is a board-certified pediatric dentist with deep roots in New Jersey. Born and raised in Westfield, he attended Holy Trinity Inter Parochial School and Union Catholic Regional High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University. He went on to complete his dental degree at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, followed by a specialized residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.

With decades of experience and a passion for children’s oral health, Dr. McCabe is known for creating a welcoming, stress-free environment for young patients and their families. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Academy of Laser Dentistry, among many others. He is a former president of the New Jersey Central Dental Society and remains committed to advancing the field through mentorship and leadership.

Dr. McCabe holds hospital appointments at Overlook Hospital in Summit, where he mentors fellow dentists, and at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, contributing his expertise to multidisciplinary care. He is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
