As an early advocate and educator in implant dentistry, Dr. Weiner has lectured at more than 10 dental schools across the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe. He served on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and directed the Graduate Dental Implant Program within the Department of Periodontology at Temple University School of Dentistry. His expertise also extends to the industry, having consulted with eight leading dental implant manufacturers on implant design and development.

Dr. Weiner introduced many design features still incorporated into implant systems over 35 years ago and has performed over 6,000 implant procedures throughout his career. A charter member of the Academy of Osseointegration, he is also affiliated with the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the American Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. He is a global speaker, regularly presenting at major dental implant conferences and conducting advanced continuing education courses for thousands of practicing dentists.
