Dr. Andrew S. Levy Recently Published In The Journal of Orthopaedics NJ Top Doc, Dr. Andrew S. Levy is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon who completed his fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Levy was recently published in a peer-reviewed journal highlighting his expertise. His article, The Rational For and Efficacy of Subchondroplasty in the Injured Worker, was published in volume 22 of The Journal of Orthopaedics. Subchondroplasty is a procedure Dr Levy helped pioneer to treat the pain generator of arthritis by injecting calcium phosphate into the bone supporting the joint.  His article evaluates the relevance and treatment of the bone marrow edema in injured workers.
