Gerard A. Begley, DMD of the NJ Craniofacial Center has been reviewed and approved by NJ Top Dentists. Dr. Begley obtained his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and subsequently, his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
After completing his internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Begley fulfilled his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Temple University Health Sciences Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this time he gained extensive experience in the management of the cleft lip/cleft palate patients while serving as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
Dr. Begley’s special clinical interests include alveolar cleft bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and craniomaxillofacial trauma.
Currently, Dr. Begley is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Temple University Health Sciences Center.
