A graduate of Stanford University Medical School, Dr. Jurema went on to complete his residency at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He later pursued advanced fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Following his fellowship, Dr. Jurema embraced academic medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Brown University Medical School. While working in the Division of Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at Women & Infants Hospital in Rhode Island, he led several innovative programs—including serving as Director of the Egg Freezing Program and Co-Director of the Donor Egg Program. He also spearheaded clinical research and contributed to advancing fertility treatment options for a broad spectrum of patients.

That same commitment to care is what brought Dr. Jurema to New Jersey, where he now resides with his wife and two children—closer to extended family and continuing his mission to support others on their own paths to parenthood.
Dr. Jurema is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in the In Vitro Maturation (IVM) of Oocytes Program at Brown University—a groundbreaking approach that allows eggs to mature outside the body, offering new hope to patients with unique fertility challenges. His thought leadership in the field has earned him invitations to speak at major reproductive science conferences around the world. His clinical interests include a wide range of reproductive health concerns, including assisted reproductive technologies (ART), recurrent pregnancy loss, implantation failure, diminished ovarian reserve, fertility preservation, third-party reproduction, and reproductive surgery.
