Dr. David J. D’Apolito, a comprehensive cosmetic, restorative, and family dentist based in Woodbridge has been reviewed and approved based on merit by NJ Top Dentists for 2024.
A graduate of UMDNJ/New Jersey Dental School, Dr. D’Apolito received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) with honors, placing him in the top 10% of his class. Prior to his dental career, he was a registered pharmacist, having graduated with honors from Northeastern University’s College of Pharmacy and serving as a clinical pharmacist at a top research hospital.
Dr. D’Apolito’s expertise extends beyond general dentistry. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in the Diagnosis and Management of Orofacial Pain and TMJ Dysfunction from UMDNJ and has advanced training in reconstructive dentistry. His commitment to excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including the American College of Stomatologic Surgeon’s Award and the Italian Dental Society of New York Scholarship Award.
A lifelong resident of the Woodbridge area, Dr. D’Apolito has been in practice for over 34 years, treating patients on a personal level and building lasting relationships. His dedication to his community and profession has not gone unnoticed, with ABC’s Eyewitness News featuring his practice in a TV news special, describing him as “the dentist of your dreams” and praising his ability to create an exceptional dental experience.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. D’Apolito enjoys various sports, including football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and hockey. He is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, NY Red Bulls, NY Knicks, NY Yankees, and NY Rangers, as well as the Syracuse Orange college teams. Additionally, he holds a black belt in Taekwondo and has trained in other martial arts, such as Hapkido and Shotokan. Maintaining an active lifestyle, he regularly works out and walks 20 to 45 miles per week as part of his exercise routine.
