Anthony J. Orrico, DMD, FAGD of Essex Smiles has been reviewed and approved by NJ Top Dentists for 2023. At his practice, Essex Smiles, Dr. Orrico provides excellent restorative, aesthetic, and preventive dental care, including Invisalign® invisible orthodontic aligners, for patients of all ages. Dr. Orrico uses the latest technology to diagnose tooth decay, gum disease, oral cancers, and other oral health issues in order to provide better treatments that protect and preserve your teeth.
Dr. Orrico was born and raised in Jersey City and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from St. Peter’s College. He then went on to pursue his studies in dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Orrico, in an effort to provide the best care for his patients, enrolled in the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida. There, he completed all the continuums through Level V and became certified in advanced appliance therapy.
He has since continued his education through seminars at the Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, FL and he received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1998.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the American Equilibration Society.
