After completing his sports medicine fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic and his residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson, Dr. Nitche gained extensive experience working with professional athletes, serving as a team physician for Rutgers University, the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Cavaliers.In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Nitche serves as an orthopaedic consultant for the New Jersey State Police and as a school physician for several high schools in the Shore Conference.
Dr. Nitche is an expert in advanced arthroscopic surgery, specializing in the shoulder and knee. His clinical interests include treating injuries related to sports and active lifestyles, with a particular focus on ACL tears, shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff repairs, and meniscal injuries.
Dr. Nitche also has a rich history in sports medicine, having served as the team physician for Sky Blue FC, a women’s professional soccer team in New Jersey, and as the team doctor for the Lakewood BlueClaws, a minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Currently, Dr. Nitche is available to see patients in Forked River and Brick Township, NJ.
