Following his fellowship, Dr. Jurema took an academic role at Brown University Medical School as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, focusing on the Division of Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at The Women and Infants’ Hospital in Rhode Island. There, he pursued clinical research, served as Director of the Egg Freezing Program, and was Co-Director of Brown’s Donor Egg Program. He relocated to New Jersey with his wife and two children to be closer to family.

Dr. Jurema is recognized nationally and internationally for his pioneering work in the In Vitro Maturation (IVM) of Oocytes Program at Brown University, a groundbreaking technology that enables women’s eggs to mature outside the body. He is frequently invited as a speaker and expert panelist in the field of reproductive science.
Dr. Jurema’s areas of clinical expertise encompass assisted reproductive technologies, recurrent pregnancy loss and implantation failure, ovarian reserve issues, fertility preservation, third-party reproduction, and reproductive surgery.
