Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist, Dr. Scott J. Jarmain Named NJ Top Doc

Scott Jarmain, MD of Coastal Spine has been reviewed and approved by NJ Top Docs for 2020. Dr. Jarmain focuses primarily on the nonsurgical care of spine disorders.

Dr. Jarmain completed his residency at Temple University/Moss Rehab Hospitals in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, followed by his Musculoskeletal/Spine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Board-Certified in Pain Management.

Dr. Jarmain frequently performs spinal injections for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes throughout the entire spine. He has also provided medical care and support for athletes, including teams at Johns Hopkins University, Philadelphia University, and the USA Golden Gloves Boxing team. 

Dr. Jarmain also served as a staff physician at the Baltimore Marathon and at several Special Olympics events.  He is currently a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the North American Spine Society, the American Pain Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

In addition, Dr. Jarmain has co-authored many articles and chapters related to sports, spine, and pain management.
