At The Pediatric Center, we prioritize the health and well-being of your children with a team of board-certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners who are dedicated to providing exceptional care. Conveniently located in New Providence, New Jersey, we offer comprehensive healthcare services for children, from birth through adolescence. Our modern, spacious office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support a wide range of healthcare needs. From routine immunizations to a full-service lab, we provide numerous on-site services designed to make your visits as convenient and efficient as possible. Additionally, we offer free prenatal classes to help expectant parents prepare for the exciting journey ahead. At The Pediatric Center, we’re here to support your child’s health every step of the way.
In addition to our board-certified MDs, The Pediatric Center is staffed by four board-certified Advanced Practice Nurses, three with Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees and one with a BS/MS as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) who provide high-quality, collaborative care across all aspects of pediatric health.
Steven Moskowitz M.D., F.A.A.P
Following his residency, he worked as a Neonatal Associate at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, where he specialized in caring for premature infants in the Intensive Care Nursery.
Dr. Moskowitz is a proud fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has developed particular expertise in asthma and dermatology, areas in which he continues to provide specialized care to his young patients. With years of experience and a deep commitment to his field, Dr. Moskowitz ensures that every child receives the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs.

Kathleen L. Chin, M.D., F.A.A.P
Dr. Chin became part of The Pediatric Center of New Providence, NJ in 1998. She completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before returning to New Jersey to pursue a career in general pediatrics. Dr. Chin earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, where she was honored with the Waldo E. Nelson Prize for excellence in Pediatric Medicine and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
She holds an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University College of Pharmacy, graduating with High Honors and being inducted into the prestigious Rho Chi Honor Society. Prior to her medical career, Dr. Chin was a licensed Registered Pharmacist in New Jersey from 1991 to 1997.
Dr. Chin is board-certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the American Medical Association. Her clinical interests include childhood development, caring for children with special needs, and general pediatrics.

Denise Visci, M.D., F.A.A.P
Dr. Visci became a member of The Pediatric Center in 1998. Before joining the team, she held positions at the Public Health Service in Trenton and at HIP in Mountainside, New Jersey. Additionally, she practiced General Pediatrics in North Carolina before returning to New Jersey.
She completed her undergraduate studies at St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York, and earned her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, where she became fluent in Spanish. Dr. Visci completed her pediatric residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey.
Board-certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Visci is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her areas of special interest include nutrition and general pediatrics.

What Makes Us Different
We are local pediatricians, serving the community for over 30 years. Each of our physicians are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Our certified nurse practitioners hold master level degrees or higher. Consistently voted NJ’s favorite kids’ docs™ from NJ Family, and recognized as Top Doctors, we strive to be the best pediatric facility in the area. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. Our spacious, separate waiting rooms and exam rooms for sick and well patients includes over 15 large exam rooms. We conveniently offer on-site blood and lab testing, a lactation suite and counseling, and on-site ImPACT concussion testing (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Test) for both baseline and post-injury tests and complimentary prenatal classes.
We have hospital privileges at: Morristown Memorial, Saint Barnabas, and Overlook Hospital.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Moskowitz, Dr. Visci, Dr. Chin and all the amazing staff at the pediatric center. Everyone is kind and never dismisses any concern. The nurse practitioners Romelia, Lorraine and Dr. Claire are all nurturing, compassionate and provide excellent care. The providers care for my children as if they were their own. Unfortunately, my family requires a lot of medical care however the pediatric center makes every encounter as pleasant as it can be. We are so thankful for their exceptional care.
Dr. M. is so amazing. He has taken such good care of our children over the years. He is kind, empathetic, and certainly knowledgeable regarding illnesses and even the more uncommon issues that we have seen with our kids. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Our family has used the pediatric center since our oldest was born 5 years ago and love the facility and staff. Our two kids go to Dr Moskowitz who is incredible, but also have positive experiences with other doctors in the practice during impromptu visits.
