New Brunswick Cardiology Group is a leading, specialized medical practice dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disorders, including coronary, carotid, and peripheral vascular disease (PVD), cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.
Our team provides comprehensive cardiac care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital, with cardiologists available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for consultation. We address all aspects of general cardiology and coordinate subspecialty evaluations as needed.
In our conveniently located offices, patients receive complete consultative evaluations, advanced diagnostic testing, and innovative, evidence-based therapies delivered by an experienced medical team.
Sheldon J. Kukafka, M.D., FACC
Dr. Kukafka is a Cardiologist with extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He graduated from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn College of Medicine, Downstate Medical Center in 1992 and completed his residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he served as Chief Medical Resident in 1995. Dr. Kukafka went on to complete his Cardiology Fellowship at the Sisters of Charity Healthcare System, St. Vincent’s Campus, serving as Chief Cardiology Fellow in 2000.
Board Certified in Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Kukafka brings a wealth of expertise to his practice, providing comprehensive care for a wide range of heart conditions.
