Pure Physio Physical Therapy
Pure Physio Physical Therapy was established in August 2020 by Dr. Harsh Prajapati, PT, DPT in order to provide personalized orthopedic physical therapy services in our clinic, at your home, or your office. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Harsh provided PT care to his family and friends while following all safety precautions. He noticed with an undivided hands-on approach, patients were making quicker improvements with less treatment sessions. Pure Physio was then established with this high-quality treatment model in mind. Initially we only provided services at home, which we still continue to do. Since then we have grown and established an outpatient office while prioritizing each patient’s needs with our true one-on-one model.
We offer more than orthopedic physical therapy services. We can also help you reach your full potential in your sports with performance training and recovery. As evidence-based clinicians, we are research oriented and add new treatment approaches to achieve best results for you. Please refer to our list of services to know more about our treatments.
Dr. Harsh Prajapati
Dr. Harsh was accepted into an accelerated combined-degree program in 2010. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2014 and went on to earn Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) credentials from Rutgers University in 2016. At Ramapo College, he was a member of the NCAA Men’s Volleyball team and several healthcare-related clubs. Since 2016, he has gained experience in multiple settings while serving patients in both New Jersey and California.
Dr. Harsh’s passion for orthopedic and sports care stems from his management of his own injuries as an athlete. He continues to participate in competitive indoor and beach volleyball tournaments. In his spare time, he also enjoys weight-lifting, biking, swimming, and hiking because he truly believes in the motto “movement is medicine.”
Aside from physical activity, Dr. Harsh enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, and reading.
At Pure Physio, we offer more than orthopedic physical therapy services. We can also help you reach your full potential in your sports and profession-related endeavors.

Pure Physio accepts most commercial insurance plans (for example: Horizon BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, etc). We are an in-network Medicare provider. Insurance benefits are verified prior to your PT evaluation and all potential cost of treatment is reviewed with our patients before starting their plan of care. Private pay clients may choose to submit a superbill to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
“Dr. Harsh is extremely thorough in his work. He takes his time assessing patients and his approach is very comprehensive. He always puts the patients’ needs first and he is very authentic!”
“Dr. Harsh has both traveled to me and seen me in his studio and both have been incredibly effective. He is extremely kind, knowledgeable, he listens and he offers a lot more hands-on work than any other PT I have seen before. He cares about your well-being.”
“Best Physical Therapist. I spent a lot of money on a big Rehab center with zero results. Dr. Harsh really worked with me on an exercise regimen that benefited me tremendously and within weeks. Highly recommend him!”
“It was by far the best experience I had working with a PT and I would absolutely recommend consulting with Dr. Harsh if you are looking to make a quick but sustainable recovery! He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and was checking in on me all along the way to see how my recovery was going.”
“Dr. Harsh is absolutely the best PT I have ever been to. He is so hands-on, and really personalizes each session. He is very detail-oriented and you can tell he really cares for his work and making you feel better. He goes to great lengths to explain concepts and the overall science behind what he does. I have gone from crutches and not being able to walk on my ankle to fully walking almost normally within the span of 3-4 sessions. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a PT.”
