Dr. Paul Hahn
Dr. Paul Hahn returned home to the northeast to join NJRetina as a retina specialist in 2016. He developed an interest in next-generation treatments and cutting-edge technologies and was the founder and director of the Duke Center for Artificial and Regenerative Vision. Dr. Hahn captured national and international attention in the popular media as the surgeon who implanted the first Argus II “bionic eye” in the Southeast US, restoring vision to an individual with total blindness. He brought this technology to New Jersey and was the first and only surgeon to perform this “bionic eye” surgery in NJ.
Dr. Vincent Y. Ho
Dr. Vincent Y. Ho joined NJRetina in 2016. Dr. Ho has numerous publications in scientific journals and periodicals, has participated in clinical trials and presented at national and international meetings on a range of topics such as retinal detachments, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disorders, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, advanced surgical techniques, and ocular imaging. Dr. Juliana Leapman
Dr. Juliana Leapman is a Cosmetic Eyelid, Orbital, and Reconstructive Eye & Facial Plastic Surgeon at The Eye Care & Surgery Center. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed her ophthalmology residency at Montefiore Hospital–Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic and Facial Reconstructive Surgery at Sheba Medical Center and Yitzhak Shamir Medical Center in Israel.
Dr. Leapman specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), ptosis repair, minimally invasive tear duct procedures, and eyelid/orbital reconstruction after trauma or tumor surgery. She also offers facial rejuvenation treatments using Botox®, fillers, and other non-surgical injections tailored to restore a natural, youthful appearance for both men and women.

Dr. Harris C. Sultan
Dr. Harris C. Sultan is a vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Connecticut, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Dr. Sultan completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a vitreoretinal fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. He served as Director of the University of Connecticut’s student-run clinic for the homeless.
He has received several awards, including the Retina Society Fellowship Research Award, and has presented at major national and international meetings. Dr. Sultan is a published author in leading journals such as JAMA Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. Dr. Sultan is fluent in Urdu, proficient in French, and enjoys tennis, badminton, and travel.
