Dr. Paul Hahn returned home to the northeast to join NJRetina as a retina specialist in 2016. He developed an interest in next-generation treatments and cutting-edge technologies and was the founder and director of the Duke Center for Artificial and Regenerative Vision. Dr. Hahn captured national and international attention in the popular media as the surgeon who implanted the first Argus II “bionic eye” in the Southeast US, restoring vision to an individual with total blindness. He brought this technology to New Jersey and was the first and only surgeon to perform this “bionic eye” surgery in NJ.

Dr. Vincent Y. Ho joined NJRetina in 2016. Dr. Bruce J. Keyser joined NJRetina in 1996. Dr. Keyser has researched, published, and presented at national meetings on a range of topics, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusion, retinal detachment surgery, small-gauge vitrectomy surgery, uveitis, and choroidal melanoma.

Dr. David Y. Kim joined NJRetina in 2013. Dr. Kim has a strong interest in global health having served on medical teams to Siberia, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua and has been awarded several scholarships and grants to increase healthcare access to underserved areas.

Dr. Krawitz joined NJRetina in 2018 and is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in the Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Kolomeyer has received numerous honors, including the Ronald G. Michels Fellowship Award, Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship, and the ARVO Distinguished Service Award. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, contributed to several book chapters, and presented at major conferences such as ARVO, Retina Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Society of Retina Specialists. Outside of work, Dr. Kolomeyer enjoys long-distance running, soccer, racquetball, and tennis.

Noah Saipe, M.D. is an ophthalmologist, cornea specialist, and cataract and refractive surgeon at Outlook Eyecare in Monroe and Princeton, NJ. He earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He completed his ophthalmology residency and cornea/refractive surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

Jeffrey S. Brottman, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at Millennium Eye Care, serving Freehold, Marlboro, and Brick, NJ. He earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Brottman provides full-spectrum eye care, including exams for retinal diseases like diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, eyelid disorders, and general eye health. He specializes in cataract surgery and advanced intraocular lens implants (IOLs), including toric and multifocal lenses that help reduce patients’ dependence on glasses after surgery.

Elliot S. Grand, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a comprehensive medical ophthalmologist at Millennium Eye Care, serving Freehold, East Windsor, and Brick, NJ. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn and a glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Grand provides comprehensive routine and medical eye care, including exams for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration, as well as evaluation and treatment of eyelid and general eye health conditions.

Dr. Elena Ng is a Retina Specialist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Millennium Eye Care, serving patients in Freehold and East Windsor, NJ. She earned her M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Ng completed her ophthalmology residency at Montefiore–St. Vincent’s Hospital Medical Center in New York, followed by a fellowship in Retina Disease and Surgery at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.

At Millennium Eye Care, Dr. Ng specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal and vitreous diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and retinal vascular disorders.

Dr. Alexander D. Port joined NJ Retina in 2020. A Toms River native, he earned his B.A. in Biology from Columbia University and his M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

After completing an internal medicine internship at NYU, Dr. Port returned to Weill Cornell for his ophthalmology residency, serving as Chief Resident, followed by a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Boston University and the Boston VA Medical Center.

Dr. Port has presented nationally and published research on vitrectomy, retinal infections, pediatric retinal disease, and quality of life in aging. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Martin Schneider is a General Ophthalmologist and Cornea Specialist at Millennium Eye Care, serving patients in Freehold and East Windsor, NJ. He earned his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the Kresge Eye Institute.

Dr. Rishabh C. Date is a vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, San Diego, before earning his M.D. from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

He completed his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Date has held leadership roles with the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and has received multiple honors, including the J. Donald M. Gass Fellowship Award and the AAO Best Paper of Session Award. He has published extensively and presented his research at national ophthalmology meetings.

Dr. Luis A. Gonzalez is a vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. He earned his M.D. summa cum laude from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico and later received a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Harvard University.

Dr. Gonzalez completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. He also trained in uveitis and ocular immunology under Dr. Stephen Foster at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution.

He has received multiple honors, including the Harvard Presidential Scholar Award and the University of Pittsburgh Peer Recognition Award, and has presented his research at major national and international ophthalmology meetings. His work has been published in leading journals such as Ophthalmology, Retina, and the British Journal of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Gonzalez is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Foundation, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Jonathan P. Greenberg is an ophthalmologist, retina specialist, and vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. He earned his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, graduating in the top 10% of his class and serving as Vice President of the Medical Student Council.

He completed a three-year research fellowship in retinal disease at Columbia University, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Northwell Health and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Greenberg has a special interest in intraocular tumors and performs plaque brachytherapy for ocular melanoma. His research has focused on advanced retinal imaging, including the development of a novel imaging technique, and he has published extensively in leading journals such as Retina, Ophthalmology Retina, JAMA Ophthalmology, and the American Journal of Ophthalmology.

He has received numerous honors, including Columbia University’s Best Basic Science Paper Award and a National Eye Institute Travel Grant, and has presented at major national ophthalmology meetings. Dr. Greenberg is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Gregory Kramer is an Ophthalmologist, Cataract Surgeon, and Glaucoma Specialist at The Eye Care & Surgery Center. He earned his M.D. from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, completed his ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center, and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Kramer specializes in advanced cataract and glaucoma care, including laser cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implants, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Before medicine, Dr. Kramer was a concert cellist, performing at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, and he credits his musical training with honing the precision he brings to surgery.

Dr. Dimosthenis (Dimos) Mantopoulos is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in Ocular Immunology from Athens Medical School, ranked Greece’s top medical school.

Dr. Mantopoulos completed a retina research fellowship at Harvard’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where his work on neuroprotection after retinal detachment was patented. He finished an internal medicine internship at Metropolitan Hospital/New York Medical College, an ophthalmology residency at Ohio State University, and a retina fellowship at NJ Retina/Rutgers.

Previously an Assistant Professor at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, he continues to teach there as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Dr. Mantopoulos has authored over 40 publications, lectured internationally, and serves on the American Society of Retina Specialists’ educational committee. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Akosua Nti is a vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Wesleyan University and her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as a Willis Scholar.

Dr. Nti completed her ophthalmology residency at the Scheie Eye Institute, University of Pennsylvania, followed by a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins.

She has held faculty roles at both Penn and Johns Hopkins and has received several honors, including the Willis Scholar Award and ARVO Travel Grant. Dr. Nti has presented at national meetings and published in journals such as JAMA Ophthalmology and Retina.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.

Dr. Michael M. Park is an ophthalmologist, retina specialist, and vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. A New Jersey native, he earned his undergraduate degrees in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Psychology from Johns Hopkins University. He received his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, and completed his residency at Yale University, serving as Chief Resident.

Dr. Park completed his vitreoretinal fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary before joining NJ Retina. He has received multiple honors, including the Marvin Sears Award for Clinical Excellence and the Best Teacher Award.

He has published extensively on retinal diseases and ophthalmic imaging and has presented at major national meetings. Dr. Park is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Juliana Leapman is a Cosmetic Eyelid, Orbital, and Reconstructive Eye & Facial Plastic Surgeon at The Eye Care & Surgery Center. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed her ophthalmology residency at Montefiore Hospital–Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic and Facial Reconstructive Surgery at Sheba Medical Center and Yitzhak Shamir Medical Center in Israel.

Dr. Leapman specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), ptosis repair, minimally invasive tear duct procedures, and eyelid/orbital reconstruction after trauma or tumor surgery. She also offers facial rejuvenation treatments using Botox®, fillers, and other non-surgical injections tailored to restore a natural, youthful appearance for both men and women.

Dr. Harris C. Sultan is a vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Connecticut, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Sultan completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a vitreoretinal fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. He served as Director of the University of Connecticut’s student-run clinic for the homeless.

He has received several awards, including the Retina Society Fellowship Research Award, and has presented at major national and international meetings. Dr. Sultan is a published author in leading journals such as JAMA Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology.

He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. Dr. Sultan is fluent in Urdu, proficient in French, and enjoys tennis, badminton, and travel.
