    Dr. Leonard Feiner

    Dr. Leonard Feiner returned to his home state of New Jersey and joined NJRetina in 2006 as a Retina Specialist. Dr. Feiner is on the medical staff of Clara Maass Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center. He is currently president of the New Jersey Retina Society.

  • Dr. Feiner graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

    Dr. Paul Hahn returned home to the northeast to join NJRetina as a retina specialist in 2016. He developed an interest in next-generation treatments and cutting-edge technologies and was the founder and director of the Duke Center for Artificial and Regenerative Vision. Dr. Hahn captured national and international attention in the popular media as the surgeon who implanted the first Argus II “bionic eye” in the Southeast US, restoring vision to an individual with total blindness. He brought this technology to New Jersey and was the first and only surgeon to perform this “bionic eye” surgery in NJ.

    After completing an internal medicine internship at NYU, Dr. Port returned to Weill Cornell for his ophthalmology residency, serving as Chief Resident, followed by a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Boston University and the Boston VA Medical Center.

    Dr. Port has presented nationally and published research on vitrectomy, retinal infections, pediatric retinal disease, and quality of life in aging.     Dr. Jonathan P. Greenberg

    Dr. Jonathan P. Greenberg is an ophthalmologist, retina specialist, and vitreoretinal surgeon at NJ Retina. He earned his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, graduating in the top 10% of his class and serving as Vice President of the Medical Student Council.

    He completed a three-year research fellowship in retinal disease at Columbia University, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Northwell Health and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

    Dr. Greenberg has a special interest in intraocular tumors and performs plaque brachytherapy for ocular melanoma. His research has focused on advanced retinal imaging, including the development of a novel imaging technique, and he has published extensively in leading journals such as Retina, Ophthalmology Retina, JAMA Ophthalmology, and the American Journal of Ophthalmology.

    Dr. Juliana Leapman

    He has received several awards, including the Retina Society Fellowship Research Award, and has presented at major national and international meetings. Dr. Sultan is a published author in leading journals such as JAMA Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology.
