Dr. Joel Confino is a board-certified ophthalmologist, cornea specialist, and refractive surgeon at The Eye Care & Surgery Center, with more than 38 years of experience caring for patients throughout New Jersey. He specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, corneal care, and advanced laser vision correction, including LASIK and PRK.

Dr. Confino earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed his ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and pursued fellowship training in Corneal and External Disease at the University of California, San Diego.

Known for his personalized approach, he takes the time to understand each patient’s vision needs and develop individualized treatment plans using advanced diagnostic technology. Dr. Confino is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery
