Dr. William H. Constad is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and corneal specialist at Hudson Eye Physicians & Surgeons, with locations in Jersey City, Bayonne, and Millburn. He brings extensive expertise in both medical and surgical eye care, with a particular focus on corneal disease, cataract and refractive surgery, and complex vision correction. Dr. Constad earned his medical degree from MCP-Drexel University College of Medicine, completed his ophthalmology residency at UMDNJ-University Hospital, and pursued fellowship training in Cornea Diseases & Surgery at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. He also serves as a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he is involved in teaching and research. In addition to treating conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disease, and corneal disorders, Dr. Constad performs corneal transplants, LASIK, advanced refractive cataract procedures, and specialty contact lens fittings for complex corneal conditions. He serves as Medical Director and a member of the Board of Directors of Eversight New Jersey and has received both the Founder’s Award and “Man of Vision” Award. Dr. Constad is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been recognized among Top Doctors in the New York Metropolitan Area and New Jersey since 1998.
