New Jersey Spine Center

About Us

Founded in 1987, New Jersey Spine Center was the first facility in New Jersey dedicated exclusively to spinal care and pioneered a comprehensive model combining both non-operative and surgical spine treatment within one practice. As the state’s first multi-specialty spine center, it continues to provide advanced, specialized care for a wide range of spinal conditions.

By integrating physicians across multiple spine-related subspecialties, the center offers a collaborative, patient-focused approach designed to identify the most effective treatment plan for each individual. Patients receive not only a thorough evaluation and diagnosis, but also a clear understanding of their condition and the reasoning behind recommended treatment options.

Whether treating work-related injuries, sports injuries, chronic conditions, or everyday back and neck pain, New Jersey Spine Center is committed to providing timely, expert care with a focus on the least invasive and most conservative treatment options whenever appropriate. For decades, patients have trusted the center’s experienced physicians to help relieve pain, restore function, and support a successful recovery.

The staff is very professional from start to finish, and I’m very grateful to have been under Dr. Alapatt’s care. He was empathetic towards my pain and anxiety, but also kept it real as far as what to expect throughout the process of spine surgery and healing. It’s been a year and a half and I’m blessed to say I’m going back to handling ann activity level I didn’t think I could achieve prior to treatment.

I had a slipped disk in my lower back that was operated on previously. The doctor I was seeing had me wait for 4 months with no urgency to get me on my feet again. I started seeing Dr. Schoeb after my cousin recommended him and not only did he prescribe me medicine that ACTUALLY helped my pain, but I was scheduled for surgery in less than 2 months. No unnecessary tests. No wasting of my time. Dr. Schoeb is a great guy and an even better surgeon. The recovery after his surgery felt even faster than my previous doctor’s and I’m happy to say I feel like my old self after only 2 1/2 months post-op. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of help. Great guy. Great staff. Great experience overall.

I think I died and went to Heaven! I have suffered debilitating back pain for years…all day and all night. Dr. Monfett gave me two injections in my lower spine last week. When I woke up the next morning, honestly, I thought I must be dead because I felt NOTHING IN MY BACK…NO PAIN! Its been a week now of not a pinch of pain. Dr. Monfett is brilliant, very kind and personable! The staff is wonderful, and Jack (the nurse) is the best! Thank you so much.
